This week was quite busy and I didn’t take very many pictures. We had eye doctor appointments for everyone, orthodontist for Ashley, doctor appointments for my husband and for Jose, and an appointment with our lawyer. There was also basketball try-outs all week for the boys, and I volunteered in Emily’s class one day too.
It was also a hard week for me too. That means it is time to start counting blessings and thinking about what I am thankful for, instead of focusing on what isn’t going right.
We did, however, have 1 awesome highlight this week!
Thursday, November 17th
Thursday evening was the annual end of season cross-country banquet. Carlitos was awarded the MVP for the men’s team! He also received his 3 year letter award too. I am proud of him for all of his hard work and effort that he puts into his running. This team is a great group of kids and they have good coaches, who are supportive.
Later that night…..
After I came out of Carlitos’ room, I found these two cuties sitting in the toy box outside Emily’s room. I just happened to still have my jacket on, which had my camera in the pocket, from going to the banquet. I snapped a couple of quick pics. This was so sweet!
Saturday, November 19th
Saturday morning while I was doing the dishes, David was doing this. He likes to get out a pot and a spoon and march around the house, while humming the high school’s fight song. He has been doing this a lot lately. We went to all of the home football games this season and David loves seeing the band perform. He has also been interested in football lately too. I think David really looks up to his big brother who is in marching band.:-)
