Emily and her kindergarten class started swim lessons this week. I volunteered to help out during their swim lessons, so I have been there each day. Emily is the one in the pink. She took some swim lessons over the summer and did well, but after not swimming for a while she said she was scared to take lessons again. I am happy for her at how she was able to get right back into the swim routine after 9 months. She doesn’t seem to be scared at all. When I asked her why she had been scared, she said that she was worried that she had forgotten what she had learned before. It may not seem like a big deal, but she faced a fear and I think that is great. 😉
We had such a nice warm day today, that we got out the wading pool for the kids to cool off in. David had a ball! (Bring on the heat! I want more days like this!)

Now this was definitely my all time favorite memory of this week!!!!! Carlos, the boys and I headed up to the temple and for the very first time ever….brought some family names and did baptisms for them. You see, I have done baptisms with Carlos once, and he has gone twice with the boys, but the four of us have never all gone together.
We were able to do baptisms for 5 family members! One from Carlos’ side of the family and 4 from my Grandma Sandy’s side of the family. It was wonderful to be in the temple with my husband and my boys and other youth and friends from our ward. I had been waiting for this day for about a year and a half. I am overjoyed that we were finally able to do this.
The other thing that made this day extra special was that Memorial Day Weekend is our temple anniversary!
On May 28th, 2011, we were sealed for time and all eternity. I love my forever family!
