Jose had two home games this week. They lost one game and won the other.
We played really well in this game.
My husband picked out these cute overalls for David at the supply store last week. He will usually go there for work pants and gloves etc. He saw these for David and couldn’t pass them up. David wore them for the first time this week, and was so excited to wear them. He says he is going to go to work with his daddy. He also will sometimes call them his Mario and Luigi pants. haha…
Carlitos had a flat tire this week. My husband taught him how to take the tire off and he had Carlitos go down to the tire company to order a new tire on his own.
There was one perk to having a flat tire…Carlitos got to drive his dad’s white truck to school for a day, while we were waiting for the tire to come in. I’d say this was some good father-son bonding time. 😉
Ashley and Sophie have started taking advantage of living halfway around the block from each other. Ashley went over to see if Sophie could play after school and it ended up turning into a sleepover with the fun stuff like playing games and painting nails. Sophie’s parents (my husband’s uncle and aunt) bought a house on the same block as us back in November. We are happy for them to be able to buy a house of their own and also to have family so close by.
Carlos with his early birthday present.
Last but not least, a pic of David was sleeping with one of his care bears. I stopped to take a picture of him while he was sleeping because it has been a while since I have taken a picture of him sleeping. Yes, he is 3 years old…and not a baby anymore, but he will always be my baby. I like taking the time to capture little things like this, and it is something that I have not been good about doing lately, but I have kind of gotten back into doing so this week. ~Enjoy the little things!~
I love your blog. It keeps me in touch and I hope you can continue for a long, long time. Now if I can only do my part.
Keeping in touch is one of the many reasons I decided to start a family blog. 🙂
