My name is Kristin. My husband, my children and my faith are very important to me. I have 5 kids and I’m a stay at home mom.
Here are some things I am interested in:
*Photography – I have always enjoyed taking pictures. As a child, my first camera was the hot pink Concord camera that used 110 mm film. For my 12th birthday I was given a camera that used 35 mm film. Since then, I have upgraded to digital ;-). As a kid, my friends and I used to dress up, go outside and take pictures around the neighborhood. Currently, my favorite subjects to photograph are my kids, of course!
*Scrapbooking – My Aunt Kristine got me hooked on scrapbooking at the age of 12. During the summer I stayed with her for a few days and she showed me some of the different books she had made for her daughter. I’ve been scraping ever since! Over the last few years, I have not had the chance to scrapbook very often….but it is still one of my favorite hobbies.
*Cooking – Believe it or not, I do enjoy it……well, most of the time! My favorite part is actually making the weekly meal plans. Once a week I find a new recipe for my family to try and afterward we decide if it is one to keep or not. Sometimes I will change the recipe up a little and find that we might like it better the 2nd time.
*Most importantly, Being a Mom – I am so blessed to be able to be a mom. Heavenly Father has entrusted me with 5 of His sweet spirits and I am so lucky to be their mom. I love spending time with my kids, going to their sporting events, listening to them play music, having movie nights, family home evening, volunteering at their schools and being able to support them.
I am also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where I serve as a Spanish Group Leader. I believe that our Heavenly Father knows each of us personally, and knows the desires of our hearts. Heavenly Father has a plan for all of his children, and I am trying to follow the plan that He has for me. 🙂
