Here is a recipe for a fun snack or treat that was adapted from the Original Chex Cereal Treat Bars.
Ingredients:
4 TBS butter
4 Cups of mini marshmallows
6 Cups of Chex Cereal
Sprinkles
Directions:
- In a large sauce pan, melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows. Stir with a wooden spoon until melted.
- Add Chex Cereal. (I used a combination of Rice Chex and Corn Chex.) Stir until coated.
- Add as much or as little sprinkles as you like. (I used Breyer’s ice cream sprinkles) Stir a few more times.
- Spray a square or rectangular glass baking dish or pan with cooking spray. Put cereal mixture into the baking dish. Coat a spatula with cooking spray and use it to evenly press the mixture down.
- Let it cool. Cut into squares and enjoy!
